Dr. Meng-Hsuan Tien

Dr. Tien joined the Department of Power Mechanical Engineering as an Assistant Professor after receiving his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University in 2020. He received his B.S. from the National Central University in 2009 and M.S. from the National Taiwan University in 2011. His research interests include structural vibration, nonlinear dynamics, system identification, and reduced order modeling. Dr. Tien currently directs the research at the Nonlinear & Structural Dynamics Laboratory.
